MODELING A LONG-RANGE TRANSPORT OF MERCURY AND ITS COMPOUNDS OVER EUROPE

A mathematical model of long-range atmospheric transport of mercury and its compounds has been developed. Concentrations and fluxes of wet and dry depositions have been computed. The model results are compared with the mea¬surement data. Presented are the estimates of transboundary mercury transport in Europe.
