THE SCATTERING OF LIGHT AND HORIZONTAL TRANSPARENCY IN THE ANTARCTIC ATMOSPHERIC SURFACE LAYER

Instrumentation and procedures of measuring scattering indicatrices in the atmospheric surface layer are described. Characteristics of meteorological and weather conditions during the observations at Antarctic station Mirny are considered. Measurements of angular characteristics of light scattering and meteorological visibility range are presented.
