METEOROLOGICAL AND ECONOMIC MODELING OF PREVENTED LOSSES

A meteorological and economic model is proposed for estimating the prevented losses. A quantitative estimate of prevented losses is presented, where wind and wind-related phenomena are considered as an affecting meteorological factor. The opportunity of obtaining statistical and economic data used in calculations and the field of model application are discussed.
