EFFECT OF THE VOLGA RUNOFF ON DISTRIBUTION OF HEAVY METALS IN ITS OFFING

Distribution of dissolved and suspended forms of heavy metals Cu, Zn, Fe, Mn, Ni, Pb, and Co in the Volga offing is studied. The Volga runoff is shown to have a marked effect on the distribution of salinity and metal concentrations in the offing.
