Calculation of the Wind Field and Spirality in Motionless and Moving Typhoons

E. M. Dobryshman and N. K. Turbaevskaya

An “inverse” problem of group theory for a deep typhoon is solved. For a given radial profile of the vertical wind component, two other components are calculated and then the redial pressure profile of pressure is computed. This profile is a free element of the group. The results are close to the solution of a “direct” problem. The vorticity and spirality for motionless and moving typhoons are calculated. A model of the wind field formed by the Coriolis force, which destroys the axisymmetric structure of typhoon, is worked out.
