Comparison of Real Hailstone Spectra with Results of Forecasting Based on the Linear Regression Model for the Purpose of Efficiency Estimation of Hail Process Modification

Data obtained by the Northern Caucasus Antihail Service and by the Hail network of the High Mountain Geophysical Institute are compared, and the hail processes with modification are separated from those without modification. Relationships are revealed between the thermodynamic factors of atmospheric conditions in the days with hail and the parameters of the Weibull distribution. Efficiency of hail processes modification is estimated using a linear regression model.
