INTEGRATED HYDRODYNAMIC MODEL FOR CALCULATION OF MESOSCALE VARIABILITY OF THE NORTHERN CASPIAN SEA LEVEL AND WAVES
I. P. Trubkin and Yu. G. Filippov
A procedure is described that is based on the simultaneous solution of problems of calculation of sea-level and wind-wave variability, with sea-level variability data being used for wave calculations. The model can be applied to conditions of the northern Caspian Sea. A significant difference is shown between the wave calculations made with the proposed procedure and those based on the existing procedure.
