OPERATIONAL PARAMETERS OF SLANT VISIBILITY IN ADVERSE WEATHER

It is suggested that operational parameters of slant visibility be used as characteristics of visual estimate of the aircraft position at the glide slope for given heights, in accordance with technology of aerial navigation in adverse weather. A physicostatistical model is presented for calculation of operational parameters of visibility from the glide slope in various weather conditions.
