EXTENSION OF THE RIVER ICE REGIME OBSERVATION SERIES

The reduction of the river ice regime observation series to a representative period is discussed. It is found that the accuracy of calculations depends on three factors: the length of the periods of observations at the analog point and the point under consideration and the coefficient of correlation between the series. A mathematical model based on the implementation of the design of the full factor experiment of the 23 type is developed to minimize errors of calculated characteristics of the river ice regime.
