EARTH RADIATION BUDGET MONITORING FROM METEOR-3 AND RESURS-01 SATELLITES

The satellite instrument ScaRaB (Scanner for Radiation Budget) developed within the framework of the Russian—French cooperation for global monitoring of the Earth radiation budget components is described. Basic sensor characteristics and the goals and objectives of ScaRaB-Meteor-3M and ScaRaB-Resurs-01 experiments are described. The first results from the analysis of the experimental data are discussed.
