EFFECT OF VARIATION IN ATMOSPHERIC PRECIPITATION ON THE WATER-THERMAL REGIME OF ARID AREAS

A. V. Babkin

The effect of increased atmospheric precipitation expressed by a linear function on the heat and moisture storage in soil of an arid area and on its water and thermal balance is investigated by the example of the Caspian Depression and Western Kazakhstan. The equations are obtained to calculate the dynamics of the principal components of water and heat balances as the function of precipitation variation.
