PROBABILISTIC MODELING OF THE ANNUAL TREND AND INTERANNUAL VARIABILITY OF AIR TEMPERATURE AND PRECIPITATION IN ST. PETERSBURG

A probability model of the ensemble of two periodically correlated and periodically correlation-connected random processes is presented. The model is used for a complex description and a simulation modeling of the annual cyclicity and interannual variability of air temperature and atmospheric precipitation in St. Petersburg. The method of simulation modeling has shown that the temperature and precipitation time series in St. Petersburg contain a long-period signal that can be identified as a low-frequency trend.
