VARIABILITY OF HYDROMETEOROLOGICAL FIELDS IN THE BLACK SEA AREA IN DIFFERENT PHASES OF THE 11-YEAR SOLAR CYCLE

A. A. Sizov

Distribution of the anomalies of some hydrometeorological variables relative to the Wolf number (W0) is analyzed. Over the last five 11-year solar cycles (1944—1995) the maximum of the analog of the North Atlantic Oscillation index ∆p occurred a year before the W0 maximum and three to five years after it on average. Winter anomalies of hydrometeorological fields in the Black Sea area are formed in accordance with such a ∆p pattern. Noticeable differences in the formation of winter anomalies of hydrometeorological fields in even and odd 11-year cycles are found.
